About Wild Sprout

Established in 2015, we are a Washington state 501(c)(3) contributing to natural art sciences. We are currently focusing on endangered species of Washington state and findings are published free to the public. 

Tufted Puffin

Once an active region for the tufted puffin, now there only a few remaining nesting sites in the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the northern pacific coast islands.

Jessica’s Aster

These composite flowers have lost a large amount of their habitat to agriculture.

Streaked Horned Lark

Endangered in Washington, this rare bird can be found in grasslands south of Puget Sound, nesting in the JBLM airfields.
