From trail to canvas, join us!
This year, we continued to explore Washington’s endangered species through art and science, from shrubsteppe birds to wetland frogs and tiny pollinators. Our posts raised awareness of state-level conservation challenges and the critical role of habitat protection.
2025 Accomplishments:
- Researched and published in-depth profiles of 18 at-risk birds, mammals, amphibians, insects and ecosystems
- Published original artwork connecting species and ecosystems
- Collected insights into habitat loss, species interdependence, and local conservation priorities
- Published insights from earlier works in beekeeping (honey analysis and apiary design)
- Delivered nature art outreach programs and received high praise and community enthusiasm
- Iterated social media strategy
Looking Ahead to 2026:
- We will continue to research and document Washington’s at-risk species
- We will continue to spotlight non-charismatic species that reveal ecosystem health
- We will explore options to expand outreach programs beyond western Washington

May your holidays be filled with warm happiness. Hope to see you in 2026!
