Wow what a year! I’m so happy to share this year’s gifts of nature with you. Sending warm wishes from our farm to yours.
2020: highlights
- First year with apiaries in both Bellevue and Carnation
- More than 10 gallons of honey harvested
- Despite broken ankle, we were able to harvest three times — now we can compare Spring, Summer, and Autumn honey varieties
- Blackberries harvested from our pristine Carnation apiary have extended this year’s jam selection: Marionberry, Blackberry, Black Razz, and Triple Berry Jams ready to go
- First time to “brew” extracts — Raspberry extract is going to be soo good
- First time to create Welsh Chutneys from our amazing tomato harvest. Love this stuff
- After 5 years, love that we’re using the hops! Hopped mead!
- Planted and nurtured new boysenberry bushes, which should be ready for 2021 harvest
