One of my favorite spots is the greenhouse, and it’s a must-have to grow tomatoes and peppers. The one trick to remember is that there is no wind and no pollinators. I learned this the hard way and missed a whole season of tomatoes. Now, just a few simple shakes of each plant a couple times a week, helps to inspire pollination for both the tomatoes and peppers.

Greenhouse is a must to inspire those hot weather veggies.
This year, I’m happy to say we’ve had 60 vine ripe tomatoes from the greenhouse.
As a comparison to the greenhouse, here’s a pic of our tomatoes in the garden outside. We have yet to have a red Roma, and we’ve had 2, that’s right two, Early Girls so far.

The goal for next year is to utilize the green house earlier in the season to see if we can sprout gourds.
