This year, a bird decided to nest in our ivy under the pines.
5/20: 4 perfect little eggs.
5/26: Not a peep. When we pull back the ivy, the chicks are looking for a snack. Momma bird is definitely protecting the nest now.

I know you’re going to ask: “what kind of bird is it?” Well, I think (not positive) it’s a Red-breasted Nuthatch. Will try to capture momma b soon.
5/31: Babies open their eyes.
6/1: Sadly all the babies are gone this morning. Not sure what critter would have gotten them. Next time I won’t disturb the nest.
